If your Peterbilt 589 is equipped with a driver-side battery box and a weed burner exhaust system (where the exhaust exits under the truck), you can use the same style box cover on either side without any issue.
However, if your Peterbilt 589 features a DPF-style setup with the exhaust canister (DPF) mounted on the side, the passenger side will require a DPF-specific box cover, as the standard battery box style will not fit.
Quick Guide:
Weed burner setup = same cover fits both sides (IC173210-14)
DPF on side = passenger side requires DPF-specific box cover (IC173211-14)

All in-stock orders ship via UPS Ground. Orders placed before 3:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day ā because downtime costs you money and every hour counts when a truck is down.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM CST, on weekends, or on holidays ship the next business day. As soon as your order leaves our dock you'll receive tracking so you can follow it every mile of the way. Larger or heavier items may ship by freight ā if that applies to your order, our team will reach out with the best options.

Returns & warranty
30-Day Returns. Ordered the wrong part or changed your mind? You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. Items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging. Some items ā such as electrical components and special-order parts ā may not be eligible for return, so reach out if you're unsure and we'll be glad to help.
Warranty. We stand behind everything we sell. All parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a part arrives damaged or fails due to a manufacturing defect, contact us and we'll make it right ā quickly and hassle-free.
