"Zerostart engine block heaters provide direct heat to the engine coolant or block and are designed and tested for individual engine applications. Model 8605556 is ideal for Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, International/Navistar, and Perkins engines. Manufactured by Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI), a global OEM and aftermarket provider of custom engineered thermal systems and solutions. Not for use in oil or hydraulic fluids.
Immersion heaters, engine block heaters and oil pan heaters warm the engine fluids of gas and diesel engines. Immersion heaters operate using AC power. The heat generated distributes throughout the engine or oil pan by convective flow of the warmed fluid. Zerostart Engine Block Heaters ensure quick winter starts which reduces engine wear.
The built-in thermostat measures the coolant temperature and regulates the engine block heater by cycling the heater on and off according to the temperature range setting of the thermostat, saving you money. Approved to North American and European electrical standards, PTI immersion heaters are designed and tested for each individual engine application."

Orders placed after 3:00 PM CST, on weekends, or on holidays ship the next business day. As soon as your order leaves our dock you'll receive tracking so you can follow it every mile of the way. Larger or heavier items may ship by freight — if that applies to your order, our team will reach out with the best options.
